Getting ready!

Following the excellent example of my wife, I am finally beginning my own record of our family's experiences. I believe this blog will be very important for us, and for our friends and family - as a record.

मुझे विश्वास है कि ये ब्लोग भुत महत्वपूर्ण होगा हमारे इतेहस के लिए - और हमारे दोस्तों और परिवार के लिए।

I will attempt to write part of this in Hindi, if for nothing else to get some practice! Although only Hindi readers will be able to tell, it will have some errors until I get the transliteration engine figured out.

We are now in Chicago, waiting for visas from the Indian Government, and hoping our move to India will begin as planned next week. After a solid month of time on the road and with family, we are ready for the adventure to begin!
